Embu College is one of Embu’s oldest existing educational institutions established in 1995 and has since striven to be a pillar of academic and cultural excellence. The Campus is made up of various bodies active in fields such as pedagogical research, entrepreneurship, cultural enhancement and social service, in line with the vision and mission of Laikipia University. Also, the campus is an examining centre for ABE, KASNEB and KNEC. To achieve all this, there is a team of highly motivated and dynamic non-teaching and qualified teaching staff. whose activities continue to be centered on education and research, with a broad range of high-quality education delivered through four schools:-

- School of Accounting and Business Management
In the field of innovation and knowledge transfer, the campus has not only set up an internet connection but also become a member of the Kenya Education Network (KENET), allowing the institution to broaden its research platform and connect with other educational institutions, thereby enriching the student’s academic research.
