AIM OF THE COURSE
The course is designed to help a student to:
i. Recognize the role played by the finance and accounting departments in a firm.
ii. Prepare financial statements accurately.
iii. Interpret financial statements of a firm.
iv. Demonstrate accounting knowledge in emerging issues in business.
v. Recognize self employment as an alternative to formal employment.
i. Passed a relevant Artisan course OR
ii. Passed KCSE with an average of D (D PLAIN) OR
iii. Equivalent qualifications as determined by KNEC
