Description

The course is designed to equip the trainee with relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable him/her to perform administrative duties as a middle level manager in a firm. The course is packaged in three modules namely:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management Module I
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management Module II
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management Module III

The course is concerned with the application of Supply & Procurement Management principles in business performance as well as implementation of procedures and processes related to business management.

  • Main Exam (External- KNEC)……………. 70%
  • Industrial Attachment/ Internship of 660 Hours before end of the course

Supply chain management experts can find employment in a variety of industries including manufacturing or retail. There are a range of functions within supply chain management that require the expertise of someone trained in the area. Graduates of supply chain management programs can work in roles such as: Inventory Assistant manager, Operations Assistant manager Procurement or purchasing officer, Contracts and pricing officer, Strategic sourcing officer etc
